IRB Review Coordinator

The IRB Review Coordinator is responsible for coordination of
the review of all research protocols requiring full board
review. Primary duties for this FTE include preliminary
administrative review of research protocols, initiating the
review process for all full board protocols, processing HRPO
paperwork related to full board protocols, and communicating
with WUSM researchers and coordinators regarding HRPO
requirements and applicable regulations/policies.
IRB Review Analyst
(Requisition # 100519)
The IRB Review Analyst is responsible for
communicating ethical and regulatory issues discussed at
committee meetings to WUSM investigators who submit research
proposals for HRPO approval. This FTE will generate letters that
address ethical concerns, regulatory issues, and Institutional
policy and will work with WUSM researchers in resolving
committee contingencies. The position requires a working
knowledge and understanding of complex federal regulations,
ethical issues, Institutional policies, and other agency
requirements governing human subject research.
